Pakistan star batter and former captain Babar Azam played the last match in the BPL 2024 edition. The current finest batter of the Pakistan national team represented Rangpur Riders, one of the leading franchises in Bangladesh’s premier league 2024 season.

Pakistan ex-captain Babar Azam traveled to Bangladesh after playing a 5-match T20I series against New Zealand. He continued to carry his rich form across two different continents.

In New Zealand vs Pakistan T20I series 2024 the prime batter scored 213 runs in 5 innings with an average of 42.60. He scored three half-centuries and one 30+ runs and stands as second best batter of the series.

In Bangladesh Premier League 2024 edition while playing for Rangpur Riders Babar Azam played the 6-innings. Babar carried his bat in all the matches except one where he just scored 2 runs and scored the most in the tournament till he left Bangladesh to fly back home. In an emotional farewell to the BPL 2024 season with Rangpur Riders Babar Azam leaves a message for fans and say goodbye for this and hopeful to meet next time.

To the champions, I’ve had a fantastic time with you all. I am thankful for everyone’s love, support, advice, and care—a heartfelt thank you to the entire team. The selfless teamwork demonstrated throughout this tournament has made a significant difference.

I’m also really grateful to the coaching staff for everything. We truly appreciate your efforts.

Let us maintain our focus and bring the cup home, brothers. I wish you all the best. I’m convinced that our paths will cross again in the future.

It should be mentioned that Babar and other Pakistani players are returning from Bangladesh after being handed NoCs until February 6. They will now prepare for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.

Meanwhile, players who participated in the UAE’s ILT20 have returned. Since their retirement, only Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir continue to play.
